Tindari e Marinello village

Archaeological area on top of a hill falling sheer into the sea. The old Greek Roman theatre is beautiful and still used today for theatre performances in the summer time.
Nearby, you may visit the sanctuary of the much worshipped Black Madonna.The view on the seaside from the forecourt is simply terrific: below the tropical-like beach of Marinello, sand dunes and everchanging marine water strips designed by tides and sea storms.
The water here is always crystal clear. The tiny ponds created by the water strips, also change in form and color: the constant tepid temperatures of their waters and their rich seabeds, make of Marinello a stunning nature reserve.
