San Nicandro Garganico

It's an ancient town, surrounded by hilly landscapes. On the crest of one of these hills lies the church of Santa Maria di Monte d'Elio. Various natural caves are scattered around the area: “Pian della Macina” and “Dolina Pozzatina” to name a few. Some of these are also important archaeological sites.
