Selinunte archaeological site

A fascinating archaeological site, immersed in nature and facing a lovely seaside. Two nice beaches right below the Temple site are an additional bonus!
Nearby, about 10km to the east, yet another gem for those with a passion for ancient history: the Cave di Cusa. The quarry is remarkable and well preserved; an example of how the temples in Selinunte were built and how local craftsmen and engineers set about constructing their masterpieces.
