La Via del Sale trekking route

A 29 km track along the coast from the mouth of river Birgi up to Marsala. A beautiful trail rich with flora and fauna. The nature reserve lo Stagnone is a wide lagoon, the largest in Sicily: it hosts more than 170 different species of migratory birds: flamigoes, storks, cranes, herons. The reserve includes 4 tiny islands: among these Mothia.
